On February 12, Brian Iller was appointed general counsel of the Moses Lake Irrigation and Rehabilitation District.  Brian had previously been working on special projects for the MLIRD including water rights issues, election issues and assessment issues.

Brian Iller will be speaking at a Continuing Legal Education Program on April 15, 2012 in Yakima, Washington.  He was asked by Law Seminars International to be part of a panel on Water Quantity: Water Flows for Farmers, Fishing Interests, and Cities.  He will be speaking on “Agricultural perspective on the relationship between groundwater and surface water appropriations and stream flows: What do we do when upper basin withdrawals affect lower basin flows?”
